FLIPPED (2015)

Take an enthusiastic group of 15 media students - many of them wannabe filmmakers - and set them the challenge of producing a festival-ready short film. The result is Flipped, adapted from an original screenplay by Emirati writer Hana Anwahi. Humaid Al Sharhan makes his directing debut.

Flipped screened at the 2016 Zayed University Film Festival.

Dubai Parks (2015)

In association with Creative Yas, this series of TV and cinema commercials were commissioned by Dubai Parks and Resorts, currently completing work on three huge new theme parks scheduled to open in 2017 and 2018.

Our work included concept, story and script development in close collaboration with Duabi Men’s College alumnus Almurr Al Marri.

For the Love of Gold (2013)

What happens when a group of first time filmmakers enter the Dubai edition of the 48 hour film project? Their assigned genre: Western. Their first thought: Where can we get some horses? The rest is history.

This is an epic Emirati Western told in 7 minutes (a little more for the ‘director’s cut’) - shootouts, showdowns and sheriffs, and of course - horses - it’s all here in this classic tale of betrayal and revenge.

At the Pier (2013)

Produced in the summer of 2013 for the Brighton Film School’s summer filmmaking program, At The Pier screened in that year’s edition of Cine Fest Brighton Film Festival.

The entire Brighton Film School experience - bringing novice and experienced filmmakers together for 2-3 weeks in order to make a short film - sowed the seeds of an idea which became Echo Film School and Studio - Houston's best resource for aspiring filmmakers.
